Consensual Yoga helps lovers, friends, family, and individuals to give and receive touch in a consent-based, touch positive environment so that they can feel safe and playful in their bodies while gaining all the benefits of yoga and Thai massage.
These classes improve ones flexibility, strength and range of motion as we learn to sit and move with ease. Special focus is put on developing the range of motion in all the major joints and enhancing coordination. Techniques for relieving chronic pain and tension are also taught.
Depending on the level of fitness in the group this class is either taught freestanding or standing with the assistant of chairs, walls and tables. We focus on practicing forms that prevent falls, build strength and stability. Meditation, relaxation and breathing practices are a part of every class.

Gentle Flow Yoga is appropriate for any level yoga practitioner, including beginners.
