Feeling stretched thin?
Your body already knows what it needs. This guide helps you listen.
If you've been overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure what you actually need right now, you're not broken — you're just overdue for a real check-in. This free guide gives you a grounded way to pause, notice what your body is telling you, and respond with something practical and kind.
It doesn't ask you to do more. It helps you listen more closely — and that's often where healing begins.
Why I made this for you
I'm Sierra, an E-RYT 200 yoga teacher and certified Yoga Therapist, and Thai Yoga Massage therapist. My work deepened after a life-changing accident in 2018, when I had to relearn how to hear what my own body was asking for. That experience reshaped everything I teach.
I created What Is My Body Asking For? because most of us were never taught how to check in with ourselves without judgment. My work centers on older adults, people with disabilities, and anyone whose body needs extra care — and this guide is my way of offering that same compassion to you, wherever you are.
What's inside the guide
You'll be gently led through:
A body check-in to notice where tension lives and how it actually feels.
Reflective questions that connect physical sensations to emotional states and unmet needs.
A body-based exploration of common holding patterns — jaw, shoulders, chest, neck, stomach, hips, and lower back.
Simple practices you can try right away — breathwork, rest, touch, gentle movement, and time in nature.
Closing prompts to help you name what matters most and choose one small step of care.
How it helps
This guide helps you feel more resourced, more connected, and less alone in what you're experiencing. It gives you a structure for noticing what your body is communicating — without pressure or judgment.
Small shifts matter. A hand on your heart. A softening of the jaw. A walk outside. One honest sentence that begins with, Right now, I need… That's often enough to open the door to steadiness and relief.
