When You Cannot Go Outside, Go Inside with this Meditation

Today I offer you a 10 minute guided meditation. Within it I recite a poem called The Guest House by 13th century Persian poet Rumi. It is a powerful piece frequently recited in mindfulness circles. It is a reminder not to resist the thoughts and emotions passing through us but to meet them with courage, warmth, and respect.

Using the poem as a guide, We go into more self-inquiry and deepen the experience of opening to our  mental and emotional "house guests" using symbolic hand gestures, called mudras. My wish is that it can serve you to be able to find greater equanimity through the challenges of life by cultivating a sense of allowing, open-heartedness and space.
