Yoga for Weight Loss

Four Week Series or Day Long


Healthy weight loss isn't achieved with exercise or cutting calories alone. It takes lifestyle changes, both physical & psychological. In this workshop we will gain trust in ourselves and find enjoyment in moving our body, while reducing stress. Stress is directly linked to weight gain, because it increases Cortisol which can adversely affect our body's signals that control appetite & feelings of fullness.  Practice in a community with those of similar size and shape who share the same goals.

  • Study the ancient philosophical teaching of yoga and learn how to apply them to your life.
  • Practice multiple styles of yoga from restorative yoga to vinyasa flow as is safe for you.
  • Utilize homework as a tool in your daily progression into physical, emotional and mental well-being.
