Depending on the level of fitness in the group this class is either taught freestanding or standing with the assistant of chairs, walls and tables. Yoga for Weight Loss

Healthy weight loss isn't achieved with exercise or cutting calories alone. It takes lifestyle changes, both physical & psychological. In this workshop we will gain trust in ourselves and find enjoyment in moving our body, while reducing stress. Stress is directly linked to weight gain, because it increases Cortisol which can adversely affect our body's signals that control appetite & feelings of fullness.  Practice in a community with those of similar size and shape who share the same goals.
